Here are the deals I see for Safeway this week. Not as great as last weeks super cereal stock up sale but still some pretty good buys!

Gala Apples- .77 lb

Soup Sale- Progresso, Campbells & Healthy Choice- Buy 4 and Save $2 there are several recent coupons from the paper and some on-line printables here that make this a pretty good deal. With coupons these should run .50-$1 each.

Foster Farms Lunchmeat- 2 for $5, score two $1 off coupons here

John Morrell Off the Bone Lunchmeat- 2 for $5, use this coupons for BOGO

Fresh Express Salads- $1 each, use this coupon to save .55/2

Dial Soap- $1 each, use this coupon to save .55/1

Del Monte Fruit Naturals- $1 each, use this coupon for $1/3

Here are the bargains I see at Safeway for the week. Remember these are the items I think are a good deal. Be sure to check your add as you may find others.



Sanderson Farms Whole Chicken- 69 cents per pound. This is a great price to stock up at. (Limit 3)

Fresh 80% Lean Ground Beef- $1.88 per pound- This appears to be the cheapest price in town this week.

Oscar Mayer Lunchables- BOGO- Use the manufacturer coupon for $1 off from a couple of weeks ago to make this an even better deal

72 Hour Sale- Friday, Saturday & Sunday Only

Mission Tortilla Chips- 99 cents- Limit One

Digiorno Pizza $3.99

Safeway also has some great coupon deals if you spend at least $20 and they have increased the limit on the number of items you can purchase. Below are my top picks:

I also ran to Safeway for just a couple of items. As I said before I almost always hit 3-4 stores each week to stock up on sale items and maximize my budget. Here is what I bought:

2 Hormel Meals $7.49 each BOGO and used 2 of this manufacturer coupons
2 Healthy Ones lunchmeat $3.99 each BOGO and used 2 of the 8/16 manufacturer coupons for .55 off which were doubled to $1 each
2 packages of Smithfield Bacon $3.00 each and used 2 of this (must register) $3.00 off coupon making them free

So my total for all 6 items was $5.48 and I saved $28.46 or 84% off my total!
